The Tony Parker Adéquat Academy was in Paris last week from April 15th to 17th. These days were dedicated to various meetings and visits at international high schools and institutions.
Lauranne BARDIN, Director of Recruitment and Strategic Development introduced the TPAA concept to :
- Andrew WHELLER, in charge of universities applications and 11th grade students,at the Kingsworth International School, based in the 16th arrondissement
- Nils BAUMANN, European University Counsellor, at the International School of Paris, based in the 16th arrondissement
- Brian BRAZEAU, Assistant Upper School Director, at the American School of Paris, based in Saint Cloud
Those representatives showed a great interest in the Academy concept. They were particularly interested in our international undergraduate programs. The Director of recruitment also had the opportunity to meet with Frédéric Bost, in charge of the basketball sport section at the Collège Evariste Galois.
Collège Evariste Galois basketball section is the most important basketball sport school section in the Ile de France region. Unfortunately, there is only a few options available for these young players, who wish to pursue their practice at the High School level
The TPAA is the answer to those young players, by allowing them to pursue their passion while studying, and having the guarantee of getting a job at the end of their studies. The Director of Recruitment took also the opportunity of this trip to meet the Ministry of Sports to present the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy to Solène CHARUAU, Assistant Director for European Affairs and Major Sports Event at the Ministry of Sports.
This trip ended with a meeting at the Agence Erasmus + Jeunesse Sports and a presentation of existing European fundings dedicated to youth and sports, including the Corps Européen de Solidarité.
